My Thoughts 30 May 2020

Romans 8:29-39

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

These verses start out with explaining, that God knew before we were formed, that He had a purpose for those He predestinated to be "in" the image of His Son. Us being in the image of Jesus Christ, being called, it is said that He also justifies us and will be glorified in us by the fact that we are in the image of His Son Jesus. So if God has called anyone into His service, remember: He foreknew us, He predestinated us, He called us, if He called us then we are justified by Him and He is glorified in us. If God did all this for us; who then has the power to overcome what God has done? Noone!!! Don't you think that if God did all this for those who He called, why wouldn't He freely give us all things?

It is also explained in these verses, that Christ died for us; therefore nothing in this world can serperate us from our calling. We then being in the flesh suffer always, between the flesh and Spirit. We face all things in this world that may try to separate us and "kill us". Then we are sought out by the evil things of this world constantly trying to remove us from God's calling. IN my body I struggle and I am weighed down by the things that would remove me from my service to God. I realize, every day I am reborn into the newness of another day and start it all over again. I know that nothing can truly separate me from my commitment and service to God. I humbly serve with the trials and tribulations that come before me. Stand firm in Gods Grace, Love and Peace. Give to those who don't have this in their lives so they may come to know God's Grace through His Son Jesus Christ!
