Matthew 18:1-7

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, “Verily I say unto you, unless ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in My name, receiveth Me. But whoso shall cause one of these little ones who believe in Me to fall, it were better for him that a millstone were hung about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. “Woe unto the world because of offenses! For it must happen that offenses come, but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh.

Christ warns that you and other people will offend each other. He also makes the warning about the person who is doing the offenses. We offend , there is no way around it. We all have our own wants needs and desires. That being said like Christ says “ Woe unto the world because of offenses!, for it must happen that offenses will come,”

We are warmed about offenses, but the first few verse, we are given the way to handle them. Humble yourselves as little children. Christ also called a little child and told His disciple “ Verily I say unto you, unless ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.” Humbling yourself seems to be the answer to me. When we are met with those who offend us, we should always humble ourselves. This allows us to free our mind and spirit to accept those people. This allows us to accept those offenses and prepare ourselves to handle and be the example for those who offend. As we accept Christ and follow His example, we are to be Christ-like. Following His example should always be in the fore front our minds. Humble yourselves , with Charity and a clear mind. We are to “save” those who offend not condemn. Remember Christ came into the world to save it not Condemn it!!! Remember to seek Him always serve Christ with all humility!
